The Alkaline Heater is a specialized industrial immersion heating solution designed for heating alkaline solutions, chemical process fluids, plating baths, oils, and other compatible liquids. The heating elements are immersed directly into the process medium, allowing heat to be transferred directly to the tank contents. Material and sheath selection are important in chemical heating applications because compatibility depends on the specific chemical, concentration, temperature, and operating conditions. BSP Industries offers these heaters with stainless steel, mild steel, lead-covered and Incoloy material options, along with customizable wattage, voltage, length, and element configurations. The heaters are suitable for chemical processing, plating, degreasing, water tanks, petrochemical processes, and other industrial applications requiring controlled tank heating. Chemical immersion-heater manufacturers similarly specify different sheath materials according to the chemical being heated and its concentration.
