The Mica Band Heater is a cylindrical electric resistance heating element designed to provide controlled surface heating around barrels, dies, drums, tanks, and other curved industrial components. Mica insulation is used around the heating element to provide electrical insulation while allowing heat to transfer toward the heated surface. Mica band heaters are widely used in plastic processing equipment, including injection molding machines, extrusion dies, plastic extruders, blow molding machines, and other equipment requiring localized cylindrical heating. BSP Industries offers Mica Band Heaters in 1000W and 2000W configurations, with customizable wattage, length, and diameter options. The heater is supplied with wire or connector fittings and is also suitable for external tank and vessel heating, drum heating, food processing, and paper processing equipment.
